Common questions

Do I need to know how to play?

If you’ve taken even one lesson, you can play — the app is built to be where you practice next. If you’ve never played before, we suggest a lesson first!

Do I need my card?

Only the first time you open the app! You can load a photo of your card into the app and refer to it while you play, so you don’t need it again.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Make My Mahj. You can also manage subscriptions from the App Store by tapping your profile picture.

I was charged and something looks wrong.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Please email us as well and we’ll help however we can!

I found a bug, or something in the game rules looks off.
